​I’m Mel, a photographer based in the seaside town of Ocean Grove on the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula, Wadawurrung Country. 

​I’m forever seeking light and it’s magical ability to transform simplicity into unique moments of beauty. Documenting those fleetingly precious moments in between, the beautiful ordinary ones we don't often pay attention to. Those are my favourite moments of all, they're the ones that tell our story.

Most of my photography centres around humble places, people and creative spaces. The lovely unhurried processes of following light to capture mood and atmosphere, of people in their studio or favourite place and telling their authentic stories through my lens, it's one of my greatest joys.
