I’ve put together a little information guide below to help give you an idea about how a shoot works and what to expect while I’m at your property.

When photographing hosted homes/airbnb’s I will capture the essence of your home and how it feels for guests to actually be in the space, evoking a sense of place and emotion through my images and giving a true essence of the experience. I require a 1 to 2 night stay as this allows me to follow the light throughout the day, capturing the late afternoon warmth and early morning glow, showcasing your home at its very best. The way I work means it’s much easier to be alone at the property as working around others in the space can be quite difficult. For most shoots, I let myself into the property using guest access details.

I will take photos of the property just as you have it prepared and styled, I’ll also make use of some items you have around the home to set a scene such as reading a book with a blanket or cuppa, just how people might naturally use the space.

Your gallery will contain a variety of images including internal, external and lovely corners or details. I’ll select all of the most beautiful images and send you a link to your online gallery that you can then easily download. The full gallery will be a minimum 100+ images. If time permits, I like to visit some favourite local spots for you to share with your quests as well. Please allow up to 2 weeks for your gallery to be ready.

You have first party self-promotional rights to the images for use on all of your social platforms, website and airbnb listings.  I am also very happy to collaborate and chat with you about other ways you might like to use the images for PR so please just ask!

The cost of a photoshoot is $2200 inclusive of gst. Travel costs where applicable will vary, however I will always work with my clients to find the most affordable and appropriate option. In and around Victoria the travel fee is $0.88c per kilometre outside of Geelong. Travel costs interstate and internationally will vary depending on your location, but generally will include airfare and car hire if required with car hire insurance. Should you need to cancel the shoot, I will require at least 24 hours notice to avoid cancellation fees of 50% of shoot costs. For cancellation of interstate and international bookings, all travel costs incurred will be payable.

Once we book in the date/s of your shoot I’ll send you a confirmation email. I will be in touch again a couple of days before the shoot to chat about your property and house story and go through any specific requirements.
